I knew Brahsome would be all over this when I heard it. They couldn’t come up with something a little more original? But thats to be expected from a shit school like VT and an even shittier town Blacksburg, VA. Typical classless fans. I guess that comes from having an asshole for your head coach. You think they would be a little more respectful after what happened on their campus a few years ago and every team including Duke and their fans had on VT ribbons. How quickly they forget.

Gee, i wonder if that was Will that wrote that, ha…

Greg Paulus is awful. There is a reason why people single him out and no one else on that team.

Duke fans have NEVER been classless! Only every other colleges’ fans!

Duke doesn’t even do the Bullshit chant after a blown call like most schools have adopted in recent years. They don’t do the Hi Tyler, You Suck! when they announce the opposing team. That comes from the coaches and fans wanting to be above the ignorance and come up with something different than just swearing at the opposing team.

I’m guessing JW is none other than John Mark…

Hey JW..you got the wrong guy..why would you think BW would stand for Will?

Typical behavior from a bunch of low rents. Seems a little gay to me.

BW, you’re an idiot.

First of all, VT is not a shit school. By calling it that, you lose credibility. It’s no Harvard, but it is above average academically.

Second, how are you going to hold April 16 over their heads? That was 2 years ago, when 50% of the school (probably more than that when you consider transfers) wasn’t even there. And even so, how long does wearing a ribbon matter for? Look at New York teams and their own tragedy, September 11. The country reached out to them and they appreciated it, but did the actions of their fans change? No. Fans are fans, no matter what the circumstance is. Let VT fans and students appreciate the support they were given in a more appropriate time and place, not the basketball court.

I just hate hearing that Duke is the only school that doesn’t have a bad attitude. I am not beginning a fight, but it’s always a 1-way street with Duke fans. I think the obnoxiousness of their fans by far makes me way more nauseated than a random chant for a guy that has been on youtube making a complete ass clown of himself, over and over and over again.. and over again. These “fainting sheep” fall down’s, his tenacity while slapping the hardwood with 14 minutes left when being up by 3.. If it were Gerald Henderson, then yes, it would be completely uncalled for, as he is one of my most favorite players in college ball right now..

Greg Paulus is a no-talent cross between Bob Sura and Bobby Hurley. I mean really.

And no, this isn’t John Mark.

Fellas fellas-

I am a VT senior, I was at that game, and I would love to educate you all on the situation. First of all, I’m not quite sure how VT is a ’shit’ school when their engineering and architecture programs are top ten in the nation, but I’ll ignore that bit of ignorance and shrug it off as naivete on your part. The legend of the “Tea Bag Paulus” chant is from the previous year when a former VT player, Deron Washington, (small forward, No. 13), (known around the country for his ability to make the sportscenter top ten nearly once a game with an earth-shaking dunk,) quite literally jumped over Greg Paulus twice in one game at Duke for lay-ups. Neither were charges, however both times Paulus took a flop. Ergo, when Duke came to Cassell Coliseum the following year, we gave him an earful for his academy-award nominated flop-a-thon as Deron gingerly placed his testes in or on Greg Paulus mouth, nose, eyes, and forehead. Nothing about it was malicious, and it was certainly not just a crude chant, there was meaning and clear derivation behind it. And, I might add, he did miss the first free-throw. VT did lose the game, but Paulus left his dignity in Blacksburg. Think and research before you preach, next time, please, for everyone’s sake, (before you singlehandedly throw away the credibility of a great university such as Duke with your brazen and foolish claims.) Perhaps next time Duke plays at VT we will bring up something else about your super classy university…maybe the lacrosse team?

P.S., you may want to check out the clips on youtube. Just search Deron Washington. A veritable smorgasbord of videos with his monster dunks and the infamous teabag incident will assuredly grace your sight
